🏈 Jason Kelce admits it feels “weird” as Super Bowl LX arrives — and for the first time, neither Kelce brother will be there

Jason Kelce says he feels "weird" that neither he nor Travis will be...Three straight years on the biggest stage… then suddenly, silence.

Super Bowl Sunday is almost here — but for the first time in years, something feels missing.

And no one feels it more than Jason Kelce himself.

The retired Philadelphia Eagles legend has admitted it feels “weird” knowing that neither he nor his younger brother, Travis Kelce, will be playing in Super Bowl LX — ending a remarkable run that defined the NFL’s biggest weekend.

For three consecutive seasons, at least one Kelce brother was competing for the Vince Lombardi Trophy — sometimes both.

From the historic “Kelce Bowl” in the 2023 season, when the brothers faced off as rivals for the first time in Super Bowl history, to back-to-back title appearances with Kansas City, the Kelces became synonymous with February football.

Now?
They’ll be watching like everyone else.

“It’s weird not having Trav in the Super Bowl or playing in it myself,” Jason confessed.
“It hasn’t happened in a while.”

The shift came quickly.

Jason officially retired in 2024 after 13 seasons with the Eagles and one Super Bowl ring. Meanwhile, Travis’ 2025 campaign with the Kansas City Chiefs ended painfully early — eliminated from playoff contention in Week 15 with a shocking 6–11 record, their worst finish in over a decade.

No playoffs.
No Super Bowl.
No Kelce on the field.

The brothers’ peak came in unforgettable fashion.

Super Bowl LVII saw Jason’s Eagles battle Travis’ Chiefs in a dramatic showdown — a first in NFL history. Travis emerged victorious, winning 38–35, and Kansas City followed that up with another Super Bowl title the very next year.

Then came 2025 — the Chiefs returned again, but fell heavily to the Eagles, 40–22, closing one chapter and quietly opening another.

This season?
The streak is officially over.

Jason Kelce says he and Travis went months 'without talking to each other' before starting 'New Heights' podcast🎙️ Still everywhere — just not on the field

Despite the absence, the Kelces won’t exactly be lying low.

Jason revealed both brothers will be busy during Super Bowl week with media appearances tied to their hit podcast New Heights, while his wife Kylie Kelce will also be involved through her own show Not Gonna Lie.

“It’s turned into a whole convention,” Jason said.
“There’s no shortage of things to do — we’ve got a full docket.”

Still, the detachment feels unfamiliar.

“I’d love to watch the Eagles or Chiefs in the Super Bowl,” he admitted.
“But that’s not the case this time.”

🏟️ What happens next

Super Bowl LX will be played February 8 at Levi’s Stadium, with the New England Patriots facing the Seattle Seahawks.

A new champion will be crowned.

Just not a Kelce.

And for the first time in years, that alone makes the Super Bowl feel a little different.
