💔 “I’m Sorry” — Kieran Hayler Breaks Silence to Princess Andre After Her Heartbreaking Confession About Katie Price Split

Katie Price’s ex-husband Kieran Hayler has spoken out about their painful break-up after her daughter, Princess Andre, made an emotional confession on her brand-new reality series The Princess Diaries.

The former couple’s split — marked by betrayal and public drama — left deep scars, and now Kieran is publicly apologising to Princess for what she endured.

The 38-year-old, who was married to Katie, 47, from 2013 until 2018, became stepfather to her eldest three children and shares two kids with her. Their marriage ended after his infidelity, which included an affair with one of Katie’s “best friends”.

Princess, now 18, revealed on her show’s launch episode last week that she found the separation “hard” to cope with, especially as it happened seven years ago when she was still young. She also said she felt “independent” from her parents, hinting at emotional distance in the aftermath.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Kieran admitted her comments made him “feel so sad”. He said:

“I am as sorry as I can be to Princess for having to witness us go through such a horrible separation. Leaving them was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.”

He added that he “would love to apologise” to her in person, and shared plans to watch her ITV reality show. Kieran said the collapse of a marriage — and a parent leaving home — can “rock” a child’s world, disrupting their sense of security.

While he tried to maintain contact with his stepchildren, Kieran acknowledged that the bond “disappears over time” and that he no longer plays a role in their lives, despite once being a “massive part” of them.

The former stripper and TV personality said he believes he was “the best stepfather” he could be, but admitted he regrets how things unfolded. Some matters, he suggested, should have been “kept private” from the children — blaming the public nature of his and Katie’s split for exposing them to adult problems.

“I regret the way things happened, but I never put those issues around the children. They were put around them because everything became so public,” he said.

Kieran added that he’s “never spoken honestly” in order to “protect” the kids, but admitted the family could never “get away from it” as the drama was constantly “dragged up” in the media.

Princess, speaking on The Princess Diaries, recalled:

“He was in our lives for like five years so we got really close to him — obviously we loved him. He did a lot of stuff, and when they split up everything kind of went downhill.

My mum, obviously being heartbroken, didn’t deal with that the best way. She went through a very, very dark time, which is understandable.”

The teenager said she had to deal with “adulty things that kids should never see” and that, when she needed her mother most, Katie was “not emotionally able to be there” because she was struggling with her own issues.

Princess also revealed that she often cried amid relentless press coverage in the aftermath of the break-up.
