When Travis Kelce asks for wedding advice these days, it’s easy to assume one thing.
After all, the Kansas City Chiefs star has been engaged to Taylor Swift since August 2025, and fans are watching every move for hints about the big day.
But during Wednesday’s episode of the New Heights, Kelce threw everyone a curveball.
The Question That Wasn’t About That Wedding
Joined by retired NFL tight end and Fox Sports analyst Greg Olsen, Travis casually brought up wedding talk — only to immediately clarify he wasn’t asking for himself.
Instead, the “advice” was for their producer, Brandon “Intern Brandon” Borders, who’s also engaged.
“Do you have any advice for him — and him alone — on the five must-haves at a good wedding?” Travis asked, grinning as he made sure there was zero confusion.
Cue laughter.
Greg Olsen’s Unexpected Pitch
Olsen, who attended Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo’s wedding in 2024 — and famously tore up the dance floor — wasted no time flipping the question into a joke.
“Number one’s me,” Olsen said. “I’m at the top of the list.”
He went on to argue that great weddings need energy, camaraderie, and someone who can dance with anyone — grandma, bridesmaids, even the bride — while also holding his own at karaoke.
Jason Kelce, never one to miss an opportunity, jumped in immediately.
“Send the invite, Trav! Send the invite!”
Olsen, however, played it cool. “No pity invites,” he insisted. “There’s no pressure.”
Wedding Talk — Without the Pressure
While Kelce has occasionally joked about wedding planning on the podcast, he and Swift have remained notably private about their own plans.
A source previously told PEOPLE that the couple is approaching wedding planning as a true partnership — nothing rushed, nothing one-sided, and no stress about timelines.
And if this episode proved anything, it’s that Kelce is still very much enjoying the jokes surrounding weddings — even if his own remains firmly under wraps.
For now, the advice was for someone else.
The spotlight? Politely dodged. 💍✨
