Brittany and Patrick Mahomes' metal-themed baby name tradition REVEALED as they welcome third child | Daily Mail OnlineOn the field, Patrick Mahomes is a three-time Super Bowl MVP.
At home, his most important titles are far simpler — Dad.

Alongside his wife Brittany Mahomes, Patrick is raising three young children who have quietly become the heart of the Mahomes universe: Sterling Skye, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, and the newest addition, Golden Raye.

From Super Bowl sidelines to first birthdays, here’s an inside look at the Mahomes kids — and the moments that define them.

The Firstborn. The Sideline Queen. The One Who Changed Everything.

Sterling Skye Mahomes arrived on February 20, 2021, just weeks after her dad’s first Super Bowl win — and life has never looked the same since.

Patrick and Brittany announced her birth with a simple, emotional photo: baby Sterling holding her dad’s finger. The message said it all.

For months, the couple protected her privacy, waiting until they “felt the time was right” to share her face. When Sterling finally made her Instagram debut in June 2021, fans instantly fell in love.

Since then, she’s done it all:

  • First holidays

  • First birthday

  • First time on the football field

  • Even her first commercial — an Oakley ad with her dad

“We got Ster-Ster’s first commercial,” Patrick joked at the time. “She’s going to be the real star of the family.”

Sterling also stole hearts at her parents’ wedding in March 2022, where she served as the flower girl — scooting down the aisle in a tiny blue car. Brittany later wrote:

“Having your daughter part of your wedding just hits different.”

On game days, Sterling is unmistakable. From custom denim jackets featuring “Daddy” and “15” to matching mother-daughter Chiefs outfits, she’s already a style icon.

Brittany summed it up best:

“She truly enjoys going down to the field and getting to see him before the game.”

The Name. The Swagger. The Little Brother Energy.

Born on November 28, 2022, Bronze arrived with a name that instantly made headlines — and a presence just as bold.

Patrick and Brittany announced his birth with a photo of tiny feet resting on a blanket that read “Mahomes,” alongside a custom diamond chain spelling out Bronze.

Life with two kids wasn’t always glamorous.

“Today is my first day of chaos since having 2 kids,” Brittany joked shortly after his arrival. “Both screaming. Both not wanting to nap.”

But Bronze quickly found his place — especially on football Sundays.

He’s already attended:

  • Super Bowl 2023 (Arizona)

  • Super Bowl 2024 (Las Vegas)

And in true Mahomes fashion, Bronze even got his own Adidas sneaker colorway — the Mahomes 2 Impact FLX Bronze — released ahead of his second birthday.

“Celebrating Bronze’s birthday with his own colorway,” Patrick wrote proudly.

Small age. Big legacy already forming.

The Surprise. The Softest Chapter. The Finishing Touch.

The Mahomes family became a party of five on January 12, 2025, welcoming daughter Golden Raye Mahomes.

The announcement was understated and emotional: a black-and-white photo of tiny feet cradled in her parents’ hands.

“•Golden Raye Mahomes• 1/12/25,” the caption read — simple, perfect.

Patrick and Brittany had revealed the pregnancy months earlier with a playful message:

“Round three, here we come.”

Later, they confirmed baby No. 3 was a girl — completing a family dynamic that feels both chaotic and beautifully balanced.

Despite being one of the most recognizable athletes in the world, Patrick has always been clear about one thing: no pressure.

“I’m going to teach my son, my daughter the fundamentals,” he once said. “But at the same time, I want to let it be about them.”

It’s the same approach his parents took with him — and one he credits for where he is today.

More Than a Football Family

Yes, the Mahomes kids have already stood on Super Bowl stages.
Yes, they wear custom game-day outfits.
Yes, the cameras follow them everywhere.

But at its core, this is still a family learning how fast time moves — one birthday, one sideline hug, one quiet moment at a time.

Three kids.
Three chapters.
And a legacy that’s already bigger than football. 💛🏈
