Sara Pascoe reveals that she was stunned to receive a sex toy from Lily Allen so that she could ‘take charge of her pleasure’ on Saturday’s episode of The Jonathan Ross Show.
The upcoming instalment of the ITV programme will see the host catch up with comedian Sara, 44, American actor Kurt Russell, 74, American musician David Byrne, 73, English star Tim Roth, 64, Dame Maggie Aderin, 57, as well as a performance from US singer Noah Kahan, 29.
Smile singer Lily, 40, released her own adult toy, called The Liberty, back in 2020 and admitted at the time that she’d always struggle to ‘get herself to a place of pleasure’.

Recalling the moment to host Jonathan, Sara recalls on the upcoming episode: ‘During the lockdowns, I got this phone call from a PR woman saying “Lily Allen would like to sexually empower you” and I said “alright”.

‘I left it on the floor, I didn’t know what was inside but I now know what was inside.
‘It was tissue, some chocolates and a sex toy because Lily Allen had put her name to a sex toy that apparently worked really well for helping women be in charge of their own pleasure – I can’t tell you if any of that is true.
‘I gave it to the charity shop.’
When the sex toy was put on the market, in a promotional video for the campaign, mother-of-two Lily says: ‘So, I’ve got a little secret – I masturbate. But why is saying it out loud the so weird?’
In the video, which sees her rolling around on a bed in silk pyjamas before applying lipstick, Lily goes on to champion self-love and empowerment for women’s sexual needs, claiming the toy ‘changed my orgasmic experience all together’.
She says: ‘Loving yourself should be the most normal thing in the world. We all deserve amazing orgasms, right? So let’s be open about it.

Funny woman Sara is on the show to chat about her new tour show Sara Pascoe: I Am A Strange Gloop.
On the name of her new tour, Sara reveals: ‘There is a philosophy book I was trying to read called I Am A Strange Loop.
‘I’ve had two kids in quite quick succession – IVF in my forties.
‘They were saying “What’s your tour going to be about? What are you going to talk about?”
‘At that point I honestly did not know who I was anymore. Neither of my children sleep through the night.
‘I thought I’ve got no idea what I’m going to talk to an audience about.
‘So, that’s where the title came from.
‘They’ve put a nice dress on me tonight but I’m usually covered in yoghurt and baked beans in my pocket so I am a strange gloop.
‘Essentially, it’s careful what you wish for.’
