Jasmine Harman, the beloved A Place In The Sun presenter, is grieving the loss of her dear friend, who tragically passed away from cancer. The 50-year-old TV star shared her sorrowful tribute on Instagram, revealing the emotional impact of the loss.

In the post, Jasmine paid tribute to her friend, identified only as “SD,” describing them as a “beautiful soul lost to cancer.” Jasmine wrote, “Today, we bid farewell to a friend. Another beautiful soul lost to cancer, leaving behind a wonderful, loving family. A beloved wife and five very special children.”
She continued, “You have left an enormous hole in the hearts of those who love you. As only someone with such a huge personality could.” 🌹💔
Fans flooded Jasmine’s post with their condolences, sending love and strength during this heartbreaking time. One follower commented, “Sending you so much love and strength, lovely lady. Thoughts are with you and with the family.”
Jasmine’s heartfelt tribute comes just over two years after her long-time colleague, Jonnie Irwin, also passed away from cancer at the age of 50. Jonnie, who starred alongside Jasmine on A Place In The Sun, left a profound impact on everyone who knew him. Jasmine had paid tribute to Jonnie following his death, sharing a memory of their early days together in Cape Town, filming the pilot for the show.
Reflecting on Jonnie’s legacy, Jasmine said, “Professionally, you were well suited to life in front of the lens… But for years, you always talked about wanting to settle down and become a dad. Your wish was granted when you met Jess. Never were you happier than in your role as husband and dad to the most awesome three boys.”
Both losses have left an undeniable mark on Jasmine, who has always been open about the emotional toll of losing loved ones. Her tribute to SD is just the latest in a series of heart-wrenching moments shared with her fans.
