In a recent interview, the reality TV personality spilled some major spoilers about the upcoming I’m A Celebrity: South Africa series, ahead of its debut next month.
The 45-year-old reality queen, known for her memorable exit from the Australian jungle, will join fellow celebrities like Adam Thomas, Scarlett Moffatt, and Ashley Roberts for the much tougher South African version of the show. Unlike the traditional format, this pre-recorded series has already wrapped filming, which means Gemma knows exactly what happened—but that didn’t stop her from teasing the drama to come.
Speaking to Metro, Gemma opened up about her decision to return after the disappointment of her previous short run. “I was absolutely so disappointed in myself that I gave up last time,” she said. “It’s always hung over my head, so when they came to me again, I was like: ‘Yeah, baby, I’m going back!’”
This time, Gemma is feeling stronger, both physically and mentally, thanks to her growth since her initial stint on the show. She proudly declared, “Doing something like the jungle, I came away, and I was like, wow, I am strong inside, really.” Her fiancé, Rami Hawash, was just as surprised by her decision, joking that someone must have been lying to him when he heard about her return.
However, the I’m A Celebrity jungle isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Rumors are already swirling about clashes between the campmates. In one explosive moment, Gemma allegedly called out Sinitta in the All Stars WhatsApp group, accusing her of leaking stories about her to the press, causing tensions to rise.
