Kelsey Parker has revealed that she is pregnant with her third child, three years after the heartbreaking death of her husband, Tom. In a candid interview, the mum-of-two shared the “amazing but also bittersweet” news, explaining how she feels about moving forward in her life with her new partner, Will Lindsay.

Speaking to OK! magazine, Kelsey, who shares two children with late The Wanted star Tom, announced that she is expecting a baby with Will. Tom tragically passed away from brain cancer in 2022 at just 33 years old, leaving behind their young children, Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four.

While the pregnancy is a moment of joy, Kelsey admits it has also been a bittersweet experience. “Tom and I always said we wanted four children, but life had other plans,” she told OK!. “So yes, this is amazing but also bittersweet. The joy of finding out I’m pregnant and moving forward with my life, while thinking, my life could have been so different. I’ve felt every emotion under the sun.”

Kelsey also shared that she’s continuing to live in the home she shared with Tom before his passing. “I’m just trying to find joy. I love my children – they’ve gotten me through the worst times. If I dwelled on everything that’s happened, I wouldn’t be here,” she said, speaking about the strength of her family and the support from her late husband’s mother, Noreen.

Noreen gave her blessing instantly, excited about the new addition to the family, with Kelsey explaining, “As long as you’re happy, Kels, whatever you do, we will always support you and be happy for you.” Pregnant Kelsey Parker shares her appreciation for boyfriend Will Lindsay one month before the birth of their first child together | Daily Mail Online

Kelsey also gave her fans a sneak peek into the baby’s sex. In a lighthearted moment, she revealed that her daughter, Aurelia, had picked up a book for World Book Day that mentioned “a little girl who is going to be a big sister to a little sister very soon.” Kelsey playfully teased, “Am I having a girl? Aurelia has picked this book, so you could be right, or maybe she’s just putting it out into the universe that she wants a sister so badly!”

Though Kelsey is excited about the arrival of her baby, she admitted that moving on after Tom’s death has been difficult, especially with the criticism she’s received for continuing her life. “It’s almost like people want me to feel guilty for moving on,” she said, adding that she’s constantly battling feelings of guilt but is trying to find happiness for herself and her children. “I feel like I’m taking steps forward to heal. Our house is full of so much happiness now, and the kids deserve that more than anything.”

Kelsey’s emotional journey has included overcoming the trauma of losing Tom and coming to terms with being a single mother. Yet, her new relationship with Will, a tree surgeon, has been a source of strength. “He’s the best thing to happen to me since losing Tom,” she revealed. Despite the criticisms, Kelsey is determined to keep moving forward. “I just want other women to feel like it’s okay to move on,” she said. “It doesn’t take anything away from the love that I have for Tom.”

Kelsey has been open about the guilt she feels after Tom’s passing, especially as she navigates her new pregnancy and life with Will. “Although we are so happy – we are over the moon – of course, I feel guilty too. Everything now will always be bittersweet, even happy things because I’ll wish Tom was part of it,” she admitted.

She also reflected on the support from her children, who are excited to be getting a new sibling. “People online don’t think about the joy it’s brought them. And should they not get to have a sibling because their dad died?”

Kelsey’s heartfelt journey is not just about moving on; it’s about finding happiness after tragedy and continuing to cherish the memories of the man she loved while building a new life with her children and her partner.

Kelsey is due to give birth at the end of June and has continued to express her excitement despite the emotional complexities surrounding her new chapter.
