Kerry Katona, 45, has bravely opened up about her heart-wrenching journey through two miscarriages alongside boyfriend Paolo Margaglione, 33, after unexpectedly falling pregnant while filming Celebs Go Dating. 😢
In an emotional interview with Paul C Brunson on the Need To Talk podcast, Kerry shared the intimate details of how she and Paolo discovered they were expecting while filming the show in 2025. Despite the excitement of the surprise pregnancy, tragedy struck as Kerry faced the devastating loss of her pregnancies.
Kerry explained: “I kept getting these hormonal spots and thought something was off. We did a test at night, but it said ‘no.’ I tried again in the morning, and that’s when I discovered I was pregnant.” She then heartbreakingly revealed, “I miscarried and tried again. Then, just 4 weeks in, I miscarried again. I didn’t realize how much I wanted it until it was gone.”

Kerry said: ‘Unfortunately I miscarriage and then we tried. And I’d miscarried again, only at four weeks. And I didn’t realise how much I wanted it then’
Despite the challenges, Kerry has shown remarkable strength, also speaking about a past miscarriage in 2022, which was detailed in her memoir Kerry Katona: Whole Again. In that difficult chapter, she revealed that after a brief romance following her ex-husband George Kay’s passing, she fell pregnant, only to face another painful loss.
Kerry is a proud mother to five children: Molly, 23, Lilly-Sue, 22, with ex-husband Brian McFadden; Heidi, 18, and Max, 17, with ex-husband Mark Croft; and Dylan-Jorge, 10, with late ex-husband George.
The couple’s relationship has blossomed, and Kerry recently confirmed they’re planning a fresh start in Spain this September. However, the move hasn’t been without emotional challenges, as some of her children are not thrilled about the change.
Kerry explained: “Paolo and I are moving to Spain, and we’ve started looking for places. It’s exciting but also nerve-wracking. The kids are having mixed feelings, but I told them, ‘If the older ones want to move too, they can.'”
Fans have been following Kerry’s journey with her new relationship, and the family’s big move to Spain has sparked plenty of buzz. Kerry shared: “It’s all about balancing family, work, and finding peace. I might as well sit in the sun while I work!” ☀️
