Stephen Bear has shared the heartbreaking news of his father, Stephen Snr’s death. The former Ex On The Beach star, 36, posted an emotional message on Instagram on Thursday, breaking down as he expressed his grief and sorrow.
“It’s probably the most painful feeling you could ever imagine,” Stephen wrote, describing his father as his ‘hero’ and ‘best friend.’ The reality TV star also shared his sadness about his father not getting the chance to meet his grandchild, as he and wife Miami, 19, are expecting their first child together later this year.
“I’ve had so many plans with my dad, we spoke every day, and I was looking forward to him meeting the baby,” Stephen continued. “But life can stop at any moment. If you’re lucky enough to have your parents around, cherish every moment with them.”
The news comes just weeks after Stephen’s announcement of his pregnancy, revealing that he and Miami are expecting their first child, a boy who he jokingly says will play for Brazil’s national football team, thanks to their mixed heritage.
Stephen’s emotional post shared how he had been struggling with the loss. “I don’t know how to act right now,” he admitted. “I just want to get through it, but if anyone out there has ever lost a parent, how long does it take for the feeling to pass?”
He shared a touching video of his dad relaxing with him in the garden, saying, “You were my hero, my best friend. I will think of you every day.”
The couple’s journey to parenthood comes after a tumultuous time in Stephen’s life, including his legal troubles and imprisonment for sharing explicit videos of his ex-girlfriend, Love Island star Georgia Harrison.
