Alan Carr is about to make a royal move, and it’s one for the history books! The comedian and Celebrity Traitors champion is just days away from receiving the keys to his very own £3.25 million Scottish castle, and he’s ready to turn it into the luxurious hotel and spa of his dreams.
The sprawling Ayton Castle, nestled on 106 acres of stunning gardens, features 17 bedrooms, a private chapel, and a five-storey tower. Alan, who was inspired by his time at Ardross Castle on Celebrity Traitors, plans to document the entire renovation process for a brand-new TV show, Castle Man, set to air on Disney+.
Alan’s grand vision? To transform the historic estate into a glamorous getaway while also embracing his new title as Baron of Ayton. “Some men buy a Lamborghini during a midlife crisis, but me? I want a castle,” Alan joked, giving fans a peek into his whimsical new life.
A Royal Ambition
With a seven-figure deal secured with Disney+, Alan is gearing up to bring his castle dreams to life. The show will follow the entire renovation journey, from initial plans to the final reveal. “I’ve always dreamed of owning a castle,” Alan confessed. “I’m entering my turret era at 50!”
But while Alan is excited for his new venture, the project has sparked mixed reactions in the local community. Some residents have raised concerns over public access to the castle grounds, leading to a postponed meeting for the community. Alan, however, remains undeterred and is eager to get started on what promises to be an ambitious and fun-filled project.
A New Chapter for Alan
Fans are excited to see Alan’s latest chapter unfold, and the renovation show promises plenty of laughs, surprises, and, of course, stunning interiors. Whether it’s Alan’s new tartan, or his vision for a luxurious hotel and spa, this is one project that has everyone buzzing.
The Baron of Ayton is about to add a new royal title to his list of accomplishments. Stay tuned, this castle transformation is just beginning!
