Eamonn Holmes Rushed to Hospital After Suffering Stroke – Health Struggles Continue for TV Star 💔

Eamonn Holmes, 66, is currently receiving treatment in the hospital after suffering a stroke earlier this week, just weeks after causing concern by appearing to fall asleep on air during an interview on GB News.Eamonn Holmes' Future on TV

The former This Morning star, who has been battling a series of health issues, including a back problem that left him using a wheelchair, was scheduled to return to his morning show on April 13 but will now be off for the foreseeable future as he focuses on his recovery.

“Eamonn, so much love from everyone here,” his fellow presenter Dawn Neesom shared live on air today, sending support to the beloved host.Eamonn Holmes opens up about his 'terrible' health battles and admits he doesn't know if doctors will ever find a cure | Daily Mail Online

His health struggles have been ongoing since 2021, following a series of slipped discs and a dislocated pelvis, which led to his wheelchair use. Last month, Eamonn opened up about the “horrendous” toll his condition has taken on him, revealing how difficult it’s been to adjust to his new reality. “Nobody seems to know what the problem is, so I just stick with it and hope they find a cure one day,” he said.

Eamonn’s stroke came after he caused concern by appearing drowsy on air during his last appearance on March 11. He quickly denied he had fallen asleep, explaining it as “looking down at my mic pack.”

Now, as Eamonn focuses on recovery, GB News has offered their support, confirming that Eamonn is responding well to treatment and asking for privacy as he heals. The broadcaster stated: “We wish Eamonn a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming him back when he’s ready.”

Fans have been sending messages of love and support, hoping for his full recovery after such a challenging time. “We’re with you every step of the way, Eamonn,” said GB News CEO Angelos Frangopoulos.

As Eamonn continues to fight through these health battles, fans and colleagues alike are rallying behind him, hoping to see him back on screen soon.
