The ongoing feud between I’m A Celebrity stars David Haye and Adam Thomas has taken another turn, with Scarlett Moffatt stepping in to defend David’s controversial comments.

It all began after Adam, 37, revealed that he had been left “broken” by David’s remarks during a tense moment on the show. Their feud reached a boiling point when David, 45, and Adam clashed over food during a camp competition, leading to verbal attacks between the two.

The drama escalated when David called Adam “useless” and “lazy” after the actor excused himself from a trial due to feeling unwell. Adam suffers from psoriatic arthritis, which causes him fatigue and dehydration, making it difficult to participate fully in the competition.
Fans were quick to accuse David of bullying Adam, but Scarlett, who had comforted Adam during the show, shared her thoughts on Good Morning Britain today. While she initially stated that she wasn’t defending David, Scarlett later admitted, “I don’t think there was any ill intent, I genuinely don’t think he meant to upset people the way he did.”
However, Scarlett did acknowledge that “his delivery was shocking!” and made it clear that some of David’s other comments, like those about “ugly birds,” were entirely unacceptable, calling him out on his sexist remarks.
Just a day earlier, fellow I’m A Celeb star Sinitta, 62, had weighed in, accusing Adam of goading David during the camp’s food competition. Sinitta claimed, “It was actually Adam goading David with, ‘Look, we got this (food) and you haven’t.’” She continued, “It can go a bit too far, like with all kids. Someone gets fed up with being teased, and then they start whining, crying, and then get upset.”
Sinitta also dismissed claims of bullying, stating that she wouldn’t have tolerated such behavior and would have stepped in if things had gotten too intense. She added, “I’m so sensitive. I would have been on the phone to the headmaster saying, ‘Guys, you need to come down and fix this.’”
The drama didn’t stop there, though. Sinitta also revealed that ITV had edited out a vicious insult during a heated argument between Adam and Jimmy Bullard. The explosive row, which was said to include a C-word rant from Adam, was reportedly toned down in the final broadcast.
Fans are still divided on whether Adam was truly bullied or whether the tension was just part of the competitive atmosphere. One thing is for sure—this feud is far from over.
