The beloved TV presenter and author of the best-selling Thursday Murder Club series spoke with pride about being British and the opportunities the country provided him growing up. Richard, who wed Ingrid in December 2022, felt a deep sense of responsibility in receiving the prestigious award. Reflecting on his experiences at Windsor Castle, he confessed, “It feels like a responsibility more than an honour.”

But beyond the ceremony, Osman’s career has been filled with accomplishments that extend far beyond television. After stepping down from Pointless in 2022, Richard ventured into writing, with his Thursday Murder Club series receiving critical acclaim and even a film adaptation starring Pierce Brosnan and Dame Helen Mirren.

As he takes on new writing projects, Richard’s words about British creativity resonate deeply: “It’s about making sure the next generation has the same opportunities I had.”
