Kelly Brook, the 46-year-old lingerie model and TV personality, has opened up about the anxiety she experienced after undergoing a full body health scan. Appearing on today’s Loose Women, Kelly shared the details of her health check with husband Jeremy Parisi, revealing how the experience left her feeling “stressed” and full of uncertainty.
The couple decided to go for the optional health scan, which uses an MRI machine as part of a preventative health check-up, despite having no symptoms or prior medical concerns. However, during the scan, Kelly became worried about “lumps and bumps” on her body, which led to anxiety while waiting for the results.
She explained, “I said to my husband, ‘Should we do it?’ He was nervous, I was nervous, but we decided to go ahead with it. Why wouldn’t you, right?”
Though the scan itself was an overall positive experience, Kelly admitted the week-long wait for the results caused significant stress. “At my age, I’ve got lumps and bumps everywhere. Who knows what’s benign and what’s a cyst – as you get older, you just do,” she added.
Despite the anxiety, Kelly shared the news with her followers on Instagram, encouraging them to consider the health check too. However, she didn’t reveal the results of her or Jeremy’s tests, leaving fans intrigued.
While Kelly admitted that the experience was nerve-wracking, she also acknowledged the importance of such health checks, especially for those at an older age.
