Discussing her approach to wellness, Martine admitted that discovering what truly works for her took time. “I think it takes a long time to work out your own recipe,” she said. “It’s not as simple as going on a crazy diet. I just feel it’s really important to encourage women to be the best version of themselves.”

Her regimen follows the 80/20 rule: 80% of her week is devoted to healthy proteins, vegetables, fruit, organic juices, and Flora ProActiv spread, while 20% allows for treats like pizza, chocolate, or a G&T — guilt-free. She also keeps active by walking her dogs after the school run and practicing Pilates, combining fitness with mental well-being.

Growing up in the public eye, Martine has long been aware of societal pressures on women to stay thin. Reflecting on her Love Actually role, she highlighted that the film intended to celebrate women as they are, despite the jokes about her character’s weight. “Every woman thinks there’s something wrong with them when in fact… they are perfect and lovely as they are,” she said.

Martine has also embraced facial treatments such as Botox to maintain her youthful glow. While initially hesitant, she came to love the subtle results that refreshed her appearance without altering her identity. “I absolutely loved it, because it didn’t look like I wasn’t me anymore,” she explained.

With her combination of discipline, self-care, and transparency, Martine has become an inspiration, showing that resilience, balance, and self-love can truly shine, even after life’s toughest challenges.
