Strictly Come Dancing fans are buzzing after former contestant La Voix appeared to drop hints that they could be stepping into the hot seat left by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman — and reactions are already split.
The former Drag Race star, who danced alongside pro Aljaz Skorjanec last series and wowed audiences during Blackpool Week, had to withdraw mid-series due to injury. Now, with Tess and Claudia’s departures confirmed, speculation is running wild about who will take over the iconic hosting duo’s roles.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Zoe Ball had auditioned but missed out, while insiders claimed Emma Willis had emerged as a favourite. But La Voix may have just thrown the show into chaos.
Fans have been dissecting the star’s social media activity. On May 14, La Voix shared photos out of drag outside the BBC studios and appeared on ITV’s Lorraine for an interview. They even re-posted a fan petition calling for them to co-host Strictly and wore a black t-shirt with “Tess” boldly printed across the front, tagging Tess Daly herself.
