Katie Price has revealed fears for her husband Lee Andrews, who has been officially declared a missing person five days after he was last seen. On Saturday, Katie shared her concerns that Lee may have been “kidnapped,” claiming he was “detained in a van with his hands tied” following his disappearance.
Lee’s family has reportedly filed a missing person report at the British Embassy in Dubai, where he resides. Katie explained that their last contact was at 10pm on Wednesday, as he travelled through the Hatta border. Shortly afterward, his phone went dead, sparking growing worry. Despite contacting the “head of CID in Dubai,” authorities could not locate him or confirm he had been detained.
A source close to Katie said: “Lee is officially a missing person now. Katie is in constant contact with his family and is desperately worried.”
The couple, who married in January following a whirlwind ten-day romance, have experienced intense public scrutiny, with Katie describing their relationship as a “soap opera.” Recently, she hinted that their marriage may already have been over after appearing without her wedding ring.
Katie told fans on Instagram that Lee had taken a break from social media to protect their privacy amid trolling and speculation. She explained: “Due to all the madness of trolling, people’s speculation, and media frenzy, we have both decided @wesleeandrews is taking a break from social media, and we are keeping things between us for now. It’s our life and marriage, and we are very happy.”
Lee had been scheduled to reunite with Katie for a Good Morning Britain interview but failed to board his flight, later claiming he “had things to do.” This follows similar incidents with his ex, Alana Percival, who revealed he previously staged an identical airport incident.
Katie’s concern has been compounded by the mysterious circumstances surrounding Lee’s last messages, including a FaceTime call where he allegedly said, “I’ve just been captured or arrested,” before the line cut off. Fans have noted the disappearance of reunion photos from her Instagram, adding to the intrigue.
