Vanessa Trump has opened up about a deeply personal struggle: a breast cancer diagnosis. The 48-year-old shared the news on Instagram Wednesday, expressing gratitude to her medical team and loved ones while asking for privacy during her treatment.
“I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer,” Vanessa wrote. “While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan. I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids and those closest to me.”
Family Support Floods In
Vanessa’s announcement was met with an outpouring of support from family and friends. Notably, her former sister-in-law Ivanka Trump left a heartfelt comment beneath the post: “Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama.”
Vanessa, who shares five children with former husband Donald Trump Jr., was last seen celebrating daughter Kai Trump’s high school graduation. The intimate Naples, Florida, gathering included Vanessa, Donald Jr., Kai, Tiffany Trump and her husband Michael Boulos, and Donald Jr.’s fiancée Bettina Anderson. Vanessa and Anderson were reportedly seen sharing a warm embrace during the event.

Tiger Woods by Her Side
Vanessa’s announcement comes amid a challenging time for her boyfriend, golf legend Tiger Woods. Woods recently cut short an intensive rehabilitation program in Zurich following legal trouble tied to a DUI case near his Florida home. Despite the circumstances, he made a point to attend Kai Trump’s graduation ceremony at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens, showing his commitment to family moments.

While he did not join the intimate graduation dinner afterward, his presence at the ceremony highlighted the bond he shares with Vanessa. The pair have publicly supported one another through recent struggles, with Vanessa posting a simple, heartfelt message to Instagram following Woods’ arrest: “Love you.”
As Vanessa begins her treatment journey, she is leaning on both her family and her partner, showing resilience and hope in the face of a sudden health crisis.
