Former model Katie Price, 47, has announced she will be pausing updates about her husband Lee Andrews, 43, who has been out of contact for a week. On the latest episode of her podcast The Katie Price Show, Katie explained that she will no longer discuss Lee’s situation, prioritizing her own well-being.
Katie and Lee, who married in January after a whirlwind ten-day romance, have been in the spotlight since he was last heard from last Wednesday. Initially, Katie asked fans for help locating him, but she now emphasizes that authorities are handling the matter.
“There’s nothing more I can do or say. The police are looking into it, and I’m leaving it to them,” Katie said on the podcast, which she had to pause when receiving a call from the authorities.
Reports indicate Katie is concerned after unclear messages from Lee, but she admitted she is not certain about the full story.
“For my own well-being, I’m taking a step back,” Katie said. “I have exciting things ahead. I can’t just sit and worry; I have to keep moving forward.”
On social media, Katie encouraged followers to focus on themselves and their goals. “Take care of yourself, because nothing is stronger than a person who knows their worth, pursues their dreams, and dares to aim high,” she wrote.
The situation surrounding Lee’s absence remains uncertain. Katie shared her last messages with him in hopes of understanding where he is. In messages sent early Thursday (Dubai time), Lee wrote: “Having some trouble. I’ll be in touch. I’m okay xx.” Katie responded quickly with concern, while Lee shared his location briefly before contact ended.
Friends close to Katie insist she is genuinely worried and not seeking attention. “Katie just wants to know Lee is safe and is asking anyone with information to reach out to her or the authorities,” a friend told The Sun.
Lee’s mother, Trisha, 61, also expressed concern but hopes he is safe. Some sources suggest Lee may be keeping to himself at a private location in Dubai, only communicating with trusted contacts.
As authorities continue to follow up, Katie is focusing on her own life and leaving the search in the hands of professionals.
