Kelsey Parker, widow of The Wanted star Tom Parker, has shared the joyous news that she is expecting her first baby with new partner Will Lindsay, three years after Tom’s tragic death from brain cancer. Tom, who passed away at the age of 33, left behind their two young children, Aurelia and Bodhi.

In her first public statement about the pregnancy, Kelsey expressed a sense of Tom’s blessing on this new chapter in her life. “Tom and I always said we wanted four but life had other plans,” she shared. “So yes, this is amazing but also bittersweet. The joys of finding out I’m pregnant and moving forward with my life, while thinking, ‘My life could have been so different.’ I’ve felt every emotion under the sun.”

Kelsey and Will are living in the same family home she once shared with Tom, and she explained how the house feels like it was chosen for her. “Will gradually moved in. There wasn’t a specific date, but he moved in when it felt right for all of us. At present, we have no plans to relocate as we’ve made this our home,” she said.
She shared how her children have already embraced the news. “We filmed the moment we told them. They were so happy. I think they’ll be amazing big siblings. Bodhi’s always been the baby though, so that might be hard for him at the start. Aurelia even started talking to the baby in my tummy at eight weeks!”
Kelsey revealed the couple is leaving the gender of the baby a surprise for now. “We’re undecided on whether we’re going to look at it yet. We’re just going to see how the journey goes.”
Reflecting on the past, Kelsey spoke about her previous difficult pregnancies and the trauma surrounding the births of Aurelia and Bodhi. Despite these challenges, she is embracing the new pregnancy with hope and joy. “For me, I believe everything happens for a reason. I’m just trying to find joy. My children are my world – they’ve helped me through the toughest times. So I feel blessed to be expecting another. If I dwelled on everything that’s happened, I wouldn’t be here. Tom was my soulmate. I’m still angry he’s gone. But I can’t live in sadness. Tom wouldn’t want that.”
Will Lindsay, who has little experience in showbiz, has quickly bonded with Kelsey’s children. “I love Kelsey so I’ll take that world on board and support her and the kids in whatever way I can,” he said. “It’s all just been pretty natural fitting in – nothing has felt forced, or rushed.”
Kelsey has also addressed the judgment she has faced regarding dating after Tom’s death, saying: “People will pass judgement on the colour of your nails. However, I can’t live in sadness. I have two young children who are happy. We’re trying to find joy in life. If you go down that path of darkness, what’s life all about?”
