Jeff Brazier, the beloved TV presenter, is reportedly set to step into the glittering ballroom of Strictly Come Dancing, following in the footsteps of his son, Bobby, who reached the final three years ago. Sources reveal that the 47-year-old presenter has been approached by BBC bosses for the upcoming series.

Jeff proudly supported Bobby during his 2023 Strictly stint with professional dancer Dianne Buswell. While initially hesitant to join himself, concerned about “stepping on his son’s toes,” Jeff is now reportedly tempted by the opportunity. Friends say Bobby is thrilled and believes it would be amazing for his father to take part.

This year, Strictly is undergoing a major revamp, with Emma Willis, Johannes Radebe, and Josh Widdicombe stepping in as hosts, replacing Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. The new trio officially announced the lineup on Strictly’s Instagram, confirming the show’s return in September 2026.

Jeff has yet to sign a contract, but sources suggest everyone around him is encouraging him to take the plunge. The presenter has recently embraced grandfatherhood after his son Freddie welcomed a daughter, Isla, and has navigated a separation from his wife Kate after seven years of marriage.

Other confirmed participants for this year include EastEnders star Lacey Turner and Dani Dyer, who missed the 2025 series due to injury. Jeff’s involvement promises a blend of family pride and TV excitement, continuing Strictly’s legacy of joy, heart, and dance.
