A joyful royal celebration unfolded in the picturesque Cotswolds today as Peter Phillips married Harriet Sperling in an intimate yet star-studded ceremony attended by some of the most senior members of the Royal Family.
Among the guests drawing particular attention were Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who stepped out alongside their royal relatives despite recent public speculation surrounding their father, Prince Andrew, and the continuing scrutiny linked to his past association with Jeffrey Epstein.
The wedding marked a significant family occasion, bringing together King Charles III, Queen Camilla, the Prince and Princess of Wales, Princess Anne, Zara Tindall, and other prominent royal figures for a day of celebration.
Peter Phillips, 48, the eldest son of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips, exchanged vows with Harriet Sperling, 46, at the historic All Saints Church in the charming village of Kemble, nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds.
The couple announced their engagement last summer after more than a year together, and their wedding day reflected the close-knit family atmosphere that has surrounded their relationship from the beginning.

Following the church service, guests were expected to continue the celebrations at Princess Anne’s nearby Gatcombe Park estate, located just a mile from the church and long associated with family gatherings and royal events.
Crowds of well-wishers gathered outside the church throughout the afternoon, hoping to catch a glimpse of the royal arrivals. Guests began appearing shortly after midday, creating an atmosphere of excitement ahead of the ceremony.
Among the early attendees were Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs, founder of luxury fashion label Beulah, and her husband Rupert Finch. Finch attracted attention due to his brief relationship with Catherine, Princess of Wales, during their university years at St Andrews.
As the ceremony approached, members of the Royal Family began arriving one by one.
Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice were the first royals to appear, smiling as they greeted crowds gathered outside the church.
Princess Anne followed soon after, wearing a striking coordinated yellow dress and hat that reflected the cheerful mood of the day.
The Princess of Wales arrived shortly afterward, stunning onlookers in a blush-toned dress paired with a matching hat. Her elegant appearance quickly became one of the standout fashion moments of the event.
Queen Camilla also acknowledged the crowds as she arrived in a sophisticated cream-colored outfit, while King Charles III opted for a traditional ensemble featuring a black coat, cream waistcoat, and grey pinstriped trousers.
Peter’s sister, Zara Tindall, completed the royal arrivals in style, wearing a chic violet midi dress by Rebecca Vallance featuring elegant puffed sleeves.
Ahead of the wedding, Buckingham Palace released a formal statement confirming the details of the couple’s special day.
The statement announced that Mr. Peter Phillips, son of Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips, and Ms. Harriet Sperling, daughter of the late Rupert Sanders and Mary Sanders of Gloucestershire, would marry on June 6, 2026, in a private ceremony at All Saints Church, Kemble.
The Palace also confirmed that both families had jointly informed relatives of the wedding plans and that King Charles, Queen Camilla, and the Prince and Princess of Wales had all been made aware of the arrangements.
With senior royals gathering under one roof and family members coming together for a deeply personal celebration, Peter and Harriet’s wedding became more than just a marriage ceremony—it offered a rare glimpse of unity, tradition, and happiness within the Royal Family during a period often dominated by headlines and speculation.
As guests departed for the festivities at Gatcombe Park, the atmosphere remained one of warmth and celebration, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the newlyweds surrounded by those closest to them.
