💔 Davina McCall Shares Heartbreaking Breast Cancer Diagnosis — But Sends a Powerful Message of Hope

Just a year after bravely recovering from brain tumour surgery, beloved TV presenter Davina McCall, 58, has revealed she’s facing yet another health battle — breast cancer. In an emotional video shared on Instagram, Davina opened up about her diagnosis, treatment, and the life lesson she hopes will help others.

“I found a lump a few weeks ago, and at first it came and went,” she explained. “But then I saw it in the mirror one morning and thought, ‘I need to get this checked.’ The biopsy confirmed it — breast cancer. I had a lumpectomy nearly three weeks ago, and the margins are clear. It was incredibly small, so I got it very early — I’m very, very lucky.”

Davina shared that her lymph nodes are clear and she will now undergo a short course of radiotherapy in January “as kind of an insurance policy,” before embarking on her journey to prevent the cancer from returning.Davina McCall details "mind-blowing" experience following health battle: "Don't know how that happened"

“It’s been a lot,” she admitted. “I was very angry when I found out. But I’ve let go of that and feel in a much more positive place now. My message is simple: get checked if you’re worried. Check yourself regularly. Don’t postpone mammograms or ultrasounds — early detection saves lives.”

Davina also thanked her family, her “brilliant kids,” and fiancé Michael for their unwavering support, as well as the team at the Royal Marsden Hospital for their care.Davina McCall: "I don't want to be best friends with my kids" | Woman & Home

Fans and fellow celebrities have flooded her with messages of love and solidarity. Amanda Holden sent her “so much love,” Chloe Madeley called her “amazing,” and Alesha Dixon praised her as “a brave warrior.” Even Julia Bradbury, a fellow breast cancer survivor, shared her support, sending “the biggest hugs.”

Through her courage and honesty, Davina is turning her own fear into a message of empowerment — reminding everyone to listen to their bodies, act quickly, and cherish every moment.
