Danniella Westbrook Faces Six More Surgeries in 18-Month Battle to Rebuild Her Face

Danniella Westbrook, 52, has revealed she faces six more major procedures over the next 18 months to fully restore her face, following the results of what she calls her ‘miracle’ reconstructive surgery.
The former EastEnders star flew to Dubai in March for a full face, neck, and brow lift, along with a lip and nose reconstruction. While fans have been admiring her stunning transformation, Danniella confirmed on Monday that she is preparing for another operation this week: a metal cheekbone implant.
Speaking candidly, she admitted:

“I’ve been for umpteen surgeries, I’m coming up to surgery number six this Thursday, so it’s quite scary. Since I got older the osteoporosis has set in on my bone. On this side of my face, I don’t have any bone at all. They’ve got to rebuild all my bones. At the moment it’s filler, but they really have to put in a metal bone.”

Danniella described the gruelling schedule of her reconstruction, saying:

“Every two and a half, three months, I’m in surgery. I hate looking in the mirror. I just recently had a facelift to realign both sides of my face because they were so wonky, just to get this nose in the right position so we could start working on that.”

The actress has endured trolls online over her appearance, sharing:

“I’ve had people telling me to die and go kill myself… but I’ve also had so many lovely people supporting me. Sometimes it’s best just not to look at it.”

Despite the challenges, Danniella is embracing life with a newfound positivity. She revealed she is single, happy, and busy, running her own celebrity talent agency with her sister-in-law. On love, she joked that she wouldn’t mind meeting Professor Green, whom she admires from Celebs Go Dating.

Danniella also credits her faith and sobriety for keeping her grounded:

“I’m still a Christian. I’ve still got a relationship with God. I’m sober, still going to meetings, and I’m happy.”

Her Dubai surgery at Gargash Hospital marked a significant milestone. She now faces three more nose operations and several sessions with advanced CO₂ fractional lasers to improve skin texture and address scarring. The star has previously struggled with a collapsed septum due to years of cocaine use and osteoporosis, and estimates she spent around £250,000 on drugs during her past struggles.
Reflecting on her past, Danniella urged:

“There should be someone at EastEnders to warn young people about the dangers when they enter this world — how quickly what you’ve worked for can disappear.”

From teen stardom at 16 in EastEnders to the tough years of addiction and reconstructive surgeries, Danniella’s journey has been nothing short of dramatic. Yet, she remains determined, hopeful, and ready to reclaim her life — one surgery at a time.
