Danniella Westbrook, 52, has revealed she will undergo six more surgical procedures over the next 18 months to fully repair her face following her ‘miracle’ reconstructive surgery. The EastEnders star flew to Dubai in March for a full face, neck, and brow lift, along with lip and nose reconstruction.

While fans have been admiring the results of her dramatic transformation, Danniella confirmed she will have yet another surgery this week: the implantation of a metal cheekbone to rebuild areas of her face affected by osteoporosis and previous injuries. “Since I got older, the osteoporosis has set in,” she said. “On this side of my face, I don’t have any bone at all. They’ve got to rebuild all my bones. At the moment, it’s filler, but they really have to put in a metal bone.”

Speaking to Vanessa Feltz on her Channel 5 chat show, Danniella detailed the grueling schedule ahead. “Another six to go after this one. The next one is like a hare lip reversal,” she explained. “Every two and a half, three months, I’m in surgery. I hate looking in the mirror. Recently, I had a facelift to realign both sides of my face because they were so wonky — just to get this nose in the right position so we could start working on the next steps.”
Danniella has faced harsh online trolling about her appearance, telling Vanessa: “I’ve had people telling me to die… but I’ve also had a lot of support and lovely people online. Sometimes it’s best not to look, so I don’t often run my social media.”
The star’s reconstruction journey is the latest chapter in a long struggle with facial damage caused by previous cocaine use and osteoporosis. Her septum had collapsed over the years, requiring extensive surgical intervention. She entrusted the procedures to Dr. Parviz Sadigh, who has performed multiple operations on her in the past.
Despite the challenges, Danniella remains positive about her life. She spoke openly about turning to Christianity and sobriety, maintaining: “I’m still a Christian. I’m sober, I go to meetings, and I’m happy.” She also runs a celebrity talent agency with her sister-in-law, and admitted she would be open to finding love again, ideally through something like Celebs Go Dating.
Her past fame began at 16 on EastEnders, though her early career was disrupted by drug use, leading producers to terminate her contract. She has since reflected on her experiences, warning young actors about the dangers of drugs and the pressures of fame. Danniella estimates she spent around £250,000 on cocaine during that period.
In addition to surgical reconstruction, she plans to undergo three CO₂ fractional laser sessions to improve skin texture and reduce fine lines and scarring. Her journey has been long, with prior reconstructive attempts over seven years delayed by the severity of her septum collapse.
Danniella last appeared on television in Celebrity Big Brother 2016, finishing fifth. Her story is one of resilience, transformation, and determination, as she continues her mission to rebuild her face and her confidence, step by step.
