Sir Sir David Beckham shared a passionate kiss with his wife Victoria Beckham as he officially unveiled his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday night.
As the couple stood proudly behind his new star, the former Spice Girl, 52, placed her hands on her husband’s face as they shared an intimate moment in front of the watching crowd.
The ceremony was attended by several A-list guests, including Tom Cruise, who was seen joking and exchanging fist bumps with Beckham during the event.
Beckham was joined by three of his children — Romeo, Cruz, and Harper — while Brooklyn did not attend, despite the event taking place just around 20 minutes from his estranged son’s multimillion-dollar home in the Trousdale Estate.

For the occasion, David looked sharp in a navy blue suit, while Victoria stunned in a figure-hugging grey satin dress. Also present was their long-time friend Eva Longoria, who wore a burgundy ruched dress, alongside close associate James Corden.

Beckham spoke emotionally about feeling “lucky” to receive the honour, sharing the moment with close friends and A-list supporters, including Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria, and James Corden.

Victoria also addressed the crowd, celebrating her husband of 26 years as he became the 2,849th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The former Manchester United midfielder, 51, was honoured in the Sports Entertainment category, aligning with the United States preparing to host the FIFA World Cup.

He also received recognition for his production company Studio 99, which helped produce the successful Netflix documentary series about his life with Victoria.
Tom Cruise delivered the induction speech, with a source close to the couple describing the moment as a “full circle” milestone.
They added that Beckham and Cruise’s friendship has evolved since 2007, when Beckham joined LA Galaxy, and that both couples often reflect on their shared memory of watching Jerry Maguire together.
Victoria was also joined by her close friend Eva Longoria and TV presenter James Corden, both of whom have been part of Beckham’s inner circle for nearly two decades.
Beckham’s star is now placed at the centre of Hollywood Boulevard, only a short distance from Brooklyn Beckham’s nearby residence, where he lives with wife Nicola Peltz.
Speaking to Variety, Beckham admitted he never imagined such recognition.
“All I wanted was to be a successful soccer player for Manchester United and England,” he said.
“That’s all I cared about — not fame or wealth, just football. So now, having a star and becoming a ‘Sir’, I feel very lucky.”
He added that Hollywood was never part of his original plan.
“I’ve never really had offers from Hollywood. I stay in my lane. I’ve done a couple of Guy Ritchie films just for fun — over a glass of wine with him,” he said.
“Hollywood? I’m not sure I’m there yet.”

Guests at the ceremony were asked to gather at the southwest corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue and wear their favourite football jerseys. The first sports entertainment recipient of the Walk of Fame category was Michael Strahan in 2023.

Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said the honour was especially meaningful as the US prepares to host the FIFA World Cup.

She added that Beckham’s influence in elevating football’s profile in America — and his wider impact across sport, entertainment, and global culture — made the recognition highly significant.
