The beloved TV presenter, 62, has parted ways with her historic Buckinghamshire home, a beautiful former boathouse sitting beside the River Thames. The character-filled property comes with its own mooring, landing stage, sweeping 100ft-wide garden and a string of elegant period features.Property records seen by the Daily Mail show the property was sold to new owners for £2,225,000 on October 17 last year

For years, the home has allowed Lorraine to stay close to London for her daytime television commitments. But the sale has raised eyebrows among fans, particularly after she previously admitted that she and husband Steve Smith would like to retire back in Scotland when the time feels right.

Lorraine, who was born in Glasgow, moved to Buckinghamshire in 2017 after selling her six-bedroom Dundee home for £825,000. At the time, the move made sense: ITV was nearby, her career was in full swing, and her morning show remained a familiar part of British television.

But now, with her ITV programme recently reduced in airtime, some viewers have begun wondering whether a bigger life change could be on the horizon.Bà Kelly không hài lòng với những đợt cắt giảm mạnh tay và được biết bà đã không gia hạn hợp đồng với ITV.

A representative for Lorraine has insisted she has no plans to quit ITV. Still, the mansion sale has done little to silence speculation that the presenter may be preparing for a fresh chapter away from the spotlight.

The striking Arts & Crafts-style property, dating back to 1898, is packed with charm. It features a vaulted drawing room, a 24ft conservatory, a stylish kitchen, a study, guest cottage, summerhouse, garden pod and covered bar — making it every bit the dream riverside retreat.

Estate agents described the home as a blend of “timeless elegance and modern comfort,” with outdoor spaces designed for entertaining, from an internal courtyard to an elevated terrace overlooking the lawn.

But the sale also comes after Lorraine and Steve were caught up in a neighbourhood row over plans to cut down a protected Corsican Pine tree. The couple reportedly wanted it removed after becoming frustrated by bird droppings on their cars and pine needles blocking the gutters.Hội đồng giáo xứ địa phương của Kelly không phản đối đơn xin phép của cô, nhưng một số cư dân địa phương đã kêu gọi giữ lại cây. Several neighbours objected strongly, with one accusing the plans of being “selfish” and warning that removing the tree would damage the character of the conservation area.

The new owner has since applied to replace the existing conservatory, although permission to remove the tree has reportedly been refused.

Among the images used to market the property were small personal touches hinting at Lorraine’s Scottish roots — including one of her tartan dresses and a Scottish flag displayed in the garden.

For fans, those details have only added to the intrigue.

Could this simply be a property move? Or is Lorraine slowly preparing for the life in Scotland she has long dreamed about?

For now, ITV viewers can breathe easy. Lorraine’s team says she is not leaving her show.

But with a mansion sold, a reduced TV schedule, and retirement dreams already spoken aloud, many are wondering whether one of daytime television’s most familiar faces may be quietly turning the page on a very different future.
