ITV has officially returned to the Peak District for more family farming drama, commissioning two new series of the hit daytime show Fletchers’ Family Farm.
The show, which follows former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher and his family as they navigate life on their 120-acre farm, has become a Sunday morning and Monday evening favourite, racking up 6.3 million streams on ITVX in the first five months of 2026 – a huge leap from 1.7 million during the same period last year.
Series four saw audiences rise by 6% on the previous season, with the final episode attracting an impressive one million viewers, marking the highest daytime figure for the programme to date.
The show chronicles the Fletcher family’s journey from complete beginners to fully fledged farmers, capturing the highs and lows of family life, the hard graft, and the farming risks they take to achieve their dream lifestyle.
Leanne Clarke, ITV Entertainment & Daytime Assistant Commissioner, said: “The response to this show has been incredible, so we’re thrilled to return to the farm for two more series. The show continues to capture family life in all its chaos and charm – there’s plenty more laughter, hard work and unforgettable moments still to come.”
Series Producer Kim Metcalfe added: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be returning for two more series. The warmth, humour and authenticity of the Fletcher family has resonated with audiences across ITV and ITVX. We’re proud of what the team has achieved and can’t wait to continue telling this remarkable story.”
Kelvin and Liz Fletcher shared their excitement, saying: “What started as a simple desire to share our family’s journey has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined. We’d like to thank ITV for their continued support and Daisybeck Studios for creating such a true account of our lives. As we enter this next chapter, we’re proud that Fletcher Studios will join Daisybeck as a co-production partner – an exciting step for us creatively.”
The show is produced by Daisybeck Studios for ITV, with Kim Metcalfe as Series Producer and Mark McMullen as Executive Producer.
Fans can look forward to more behind-the-scenes family fun, heartwarming moments, and the occasional farming disaster when series five and six air throughout 2026 and 2027.
