For years, millions of viewers have known Bradley Walsh as the quick-witted host who keeps contestants on their toes in The Chase. But now, the beloved television favourite is preparing to swap quiz questions for some of humanity’s greatest unsolved mysteries.
In a surprising new career move, Bradley is stepping into a world filled with UFO sightings, unexplained phenomena, secret military files and even the legendary lost city of Atlantis.
The 66-year-old presenter has been announced as the face of Out of This World, an ambitious new Sky History series that will take him far beyond the familiar television studio and into some of the world’s most mysterious locations.
A Fascination That Goes Far Beyond Entertainment
According to Sky History, the upcoming documentary series will combine scientific investigation with Bradley’s trademark humour and curiosity as he explores some of Earth’s most baffling mysteries.
While many fans know him for hosting hit shows including The Chase, Gladiators, Blankety Blank and Bradley Walsh & Son: Breaking Dad, those closest to the production say his interest in unexplained history has existed for years.
That passion first became clear in last year’s documentary, Bradley Walsh: Egypt’s Cosmic Code, where he examined the mysteries surrounding ancient Egypt and the remarkable engineering achievements that continue to puzzle historians today.
Now, Bradley is taking that fascination even further.
UFOs, Crop Circles and Classified Files
The new series will investigate some of history’s most debated mysteries, from strange crop circles and mysterious aerial sightings to reports that have remained hidden inside official military archives in both the United Kingdom and the United States.
According to reports, Bradley will gain access to experts, scientists, eyewitnesses and former military insiders as he attempts to separate scientific fact from long-standing legend.
The programme promises to explore questions that have fascinated people for generations:
- Are UFO sightings more than simple coincidence?
- What really lies behind decades of classified reports?
- Could ancient civilizations have possessed knowledge we’ve yet to understand?
Rather than jumping to conclusions, the series aims to examine the evidence with an open but balanced approach.
A Journey Across the Globe
Filming is already underway, taking Bradley far beyond Britain.
His adventure reportedly includes travelling to Sweden, where he’ll investigate the country’s mysterious “ghost ships,” before heading to Arizona to meet researchers and military figures connected to unexplained aerial encounters.
Perhaps the biggest challenge of all will see Bradley searching for clues surrounding one of history’s greatest legends—the lost city of Atlantis.
Whether the mythical civilisation truly existed remains one of archaeology’s biggest unanswered questions, but the journey itself promises spectacular locations and fascinating discoveries.
A New Chapter for One of Britain’s Favourite TV Stars
The new documentary arrives during one of the busiest periods of Bradley’s career.
Away from television, he’s preparing to reunite with close friends Brian Conley, Shane Richie and Joe Pasquale for another nationwide run of The Prat Pack’s Back after the group’s hugely successful sold-out tour in 2025.
Inspired by the legendary Rat Pack, the four entertainers perform classic songs made famous by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr., backed by a full 15-piece live orchestra while mixing music with comedy and storytelling.
The 2026 tour begins at Edinburgh Playhouse in September before visiting Glasgow, Manchester, London Palladium and several other major venues across the UK.
Speaking about returning to the stage, Bradley admitted he couldn’t wait to hit the road once again.
“We had so much fun on the road in 2025,” he said. “These shows are going to be even bigger, even better and even more hilarious. Brian, Joe and Shane are my best friends, and there’s no one I’d rather be on the tour bus with.”
From Quizmaster to Mystery Hunter
After decades entertaining audiences with humour, warmth and quick-fire wit, Bradley Walsh is about to reveal a completely different side of himself.
Instead of chasing contestants for correct answers, he’ll now be chasing mysteries that have puzzled humanity for centuries.
Whether he’s uncovering classified UFO reports, investigating ancient civilizations or searching for the truth behind Atlantis, one thing is certain: this could become one of the most unexpected—and fascinating—chapters of Bradley Walsh’s television career.
