Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash could be preparing for a major new chapter, with reports claiming the couple are considering leaving their much-loved Pickle Cottage for a spectacular eight-bedroom Victorian mansion.
The TV favourites, who moved into their Essex dream home in 2021, are said to have fallen in love with a larger property that offers significantly more space for their growing blended family.
According to reports, the impressive Victorian mansion—worth almost twice as much as their current £1.3 million home—sits within acres of beautiful grounds and comes complete with a swimming pool, expansive gardens and eight bedrooms, making it an ideal fit for their busy household.
A Bigger Home for a Growing Family
Stacey, 36, and Joe, 44, share three children together—Rex, Rose and Belle. Stacey is also mum to sons Zachary and Leighton, while Joe shares son Harry from a previous relationship.
With six children between them, sources claim the couple have begun looking for a property that offers everyone a little more room.
An insider reportedly said the pair “viewed the house and fell in love with it,” adding that Pickle Cottage’s five bedrooms are becoming increasingly limited for such a large family.
A New DIY Challenge for Stacey
The potential move would also give Stacey another exciting renovation project.
The former Sort Your Life Out presenter has built a huge social media following thanks to her creative DIY transformations, regularly sharing budget-friendly home makeovers and interior design ideas with millions of fans.
According to the source, the Victorian property needs “a bit of love,” making it the perfect blank canvas for Stacey to work her magic once again.
Saying Goodbye to Pickle Cottage?
Leaving Pickle Cottage would be an emotional milestone for the couple.
The picturesque home has played a huge role in their family life over the past five years. It was where Stacey and Joe celebrated their beautiful wedding in 2022, and it has also become the backdrop for much of their reality television series and countless social media moments.
However, reports suggest the pair are excited about creating new memories in a home that better suits their family’s future.
Stacey’s Philosophy on Home Design
Stacey has previously spoken about her passion for creating spaces that reflect the people living in them rather than following trends.
In an interview with House Beautiful, she explained that she dislikes people judging others’ homes, believing every family should decorate in a way that makes them feel comfortable and happy.
Rather than worrying about what others think, Stacey believes a home should support the people who live there—and if the reported move goes ahead, fans will no doubt be eager to watch her transform another property into a dream family home.
Neither Stacey nor Joe has publicly confirmed the reported house move.
