Stacey Solomon has left fans talking after playfully telling husband Joe Swash to “get your arm off me” during a candid moment at Pickle Cottage—just weeks after the couple found themselves at the centre of ongoing marriage speculation.

The beloved TV couple reunited at home during Britain’s scorching heatwave, but Stacey made it very clear she wasn’t in the mood for cuddles.

‘I Need a One-Metre Radius!’

Sharing the hilarious exchange on her Instagram Stories, Stacey, 36, was seen relaxing on the sofa alongside Joe when she suddenly protested as he wrapped an arm around her.

Laughing, she said:

“No, are you joking? Does anyone else’s husband think it’s OK to be anywhere near them in this heat?”

She continued:

“You don’t cuddle me at the best of times and now suddenly you’re all over me in 35-degree weather!”

As Joe kept trying to snuggle closer, Stacey finally blurted out:

“Seriously… get your arm off me!”

She then shuffled further away on the sofa, joking that she needed “at least a couple of metres” between them.

Joe wasn’t ready to give up, firing back:

“Don’t use the weather as an excuse.”

But Stacey stood her ground.

“No, seriously. It’s too hot for this rubbish.”

Another Playful Swipe After Split Rumours

The light-hearted exchange comes after Stacey recently joked that Joe should “stay away from me” in another social media clip, comments that surfaced while rumours about trouble in their marriage continued to circulate.

Despite the speculation, the pair have repeatedly insisted their relationship is no different from any other long-term marriage.

Speaking on the Sort Your Life Out: Unpacked podcast, Stacey dismissed the gossip, saying:

“Who cares if the whole world thinks we’re on the brink of divorce? If we know it’s not true, why would we care?”

She admitted every relationship has its ups and downs.

“Sometimes I fancy the pants off him and can’t wait to get home. Other times I’m like, ‘Get out of my stratosphere—stay away from me!’ I think we’re just like any other couple.”

The latest video also comes as reports claim Stacey and Joe are considering leaving their much-loved Pickle Cottage for a much larger Victorian mansion that would better accommodate their blended family of six children.

The couple, who celebrated a beautiful ceremony at their Essex home in 2022, have also revealed they still haven’t officially registered their marriage—a decision Stacey previously explained was always part of their plan.

Recent sightings of Stacey without her wedding ring and her brief break from social media have only fuelled further rumours, although neither she nor Joe has suggested they are separating.

Meanwhile, filming has resumed on the family’s BBC reality series after production was temporarily paused earlier this year, with the broadcaster already confirming the show will return for a third season.

For now, Stacey’s latest video suggests that while the headlines continue, sometimes the biggest battle at Pickle Cottage is simply surviving a British heatwave—with a little extra personal space.
