BIG Brother’s Angela Murray has gotten herself into trouble after not adhering to an important rule on the show.
The CBS reality star attempted to have a late-night chat with a fellow houseguest without her microphone, but was caught in the act by an angry producer.
A major draw of the show is its 24/7 live feed, which documents the houseguests’ every move outside the regular episodes.
This means the cast must wear a microphone and keep it on at all times to capture their interactions.
However, Angela tried to sneak under the radar and have a middle-of-the-night conversation with her bunkmate, Barrett Feiffer.
The Big Brother veteran was seen on the night cam, waking Barrett up and chatting for a minute before being scolded by a producer off camera.
“Angela! Please put on your microphone!” the voice yelled, catching the pair by surprise as they abruptly ended their discussion and lay back down.
While Barrett quietly laughed about the interruption, Angela appeared very rattled, repeatedly saying, “Oh my god.”
She then said goodnight to Barrett and made no further attempts to chat.
Fans laughed at the incident on social media, with one X user writing, “Their reactions to the overhead announcement are hilarious. How did everyone not wake up?!”
Another said, “Them both instantly laying down like 2 little kids that got caught by dad.”
Others wondered what the duo was discussing, since neither could be heard through their microphones.
Angela previously starred on Season 26 of Big Brother and earned a reputation as one of the most unpredictable houseguests.
She was often involved in explosive confrontations with her castmates and regularly stayed out of the spotlight.
This season’s cast was shocked when she made her unexpected arrival alongside Survivor alum Rick Devens during last week’s premiere.
The Utah real estate agent has already been a part of drama in the house, after being the target of Jason De Puy‘s emotional manipulation scheme.
Jason has admitted on camera to faking tears for Angela to make her think they are close friends.
Angela found out about the RuPaul’s Drag Race star‘s plan and was caught cursing in a fit of rage over his betrayal on the live feed.
She then broke down in tears during Wednesday’s episode after she and Jason bonded in another touching moment, which Jason also admitted he had faked as part of his gaming strategy.
