In tonight’s Coronation Street, Sarah Platt’s worst nightmare comes true as the police swoop in to arrest her for Theo Silverton’s murder.
Kit Green is hurt and humiliated after being kept in the dark by his work colleagues – is there anything he can do to help his partner?

1. Kit tries to get answers – again
Kit spots McLaughlin at the café and makes yet another attempt to get some gossip on Theo’s murder case.
As McLaughlin refuses to share any details. Kit must form his own conclusions and soon gets carried away with the idea that Gary may soon be arrested.
2. Sarah drops a bombshell
Kit shares his belief with Sarah, hoping to reassure her over her own future. However, Sarah suddenly remembers that the police took away her wedding outfit from the night of Carla and Lisa’s reception.
Sarah’s clothes were taken away for testing after the attack at the Platt house, which took place shortly after Theo’s death. She now realises that any thorough examination would link her to the murder!
3. Kit continues to snoop around
Kit warns Sarah that her only hope of escaping justice is the possibility that her clothes were never sent off for testing. Because of budget constraints at the station, and with no firm suspects to investigate in her attack case, Kit is hopeful that this could be a possibility.
He promises to do his best to find out and snoops around the evidence room at the police station, but will he be caught out?
4. A Platt family gathering is interrupted
The Platts try to record a video message for Audrey’s birthday, as she’s still away in France.
As with most Platt-related activities, the idea descends into bickering… but that’s nothing compared to the dramatic moment when armed police arrive and arrest Sarah on suspicion of Theo’s murder!
5. Sarah is questioned
Down at the station, Sarah is questioned about the murder. Just as she’d feared, the clothes she wore on the night of Lisa and Carla’s wedding reception are now a key part of the investigation.
Will Sarah confess her guilt, or keep quiet in the hope that the police don’t have enough evidence to charge her?
6. Gary’s future hangs by a thread
Gary is shocked by Sarah’s arrest, but he tries to focus on his own family by being there for his son Jake when he receives an award.
Maria is pleased to see Gary prioritising what’s important, but will Sarah cover for him by keeping his name out of her police interview? Or could Gary still be facing serious problems?
