Zack Wickham revealed Jax Taylor and his publicist Lori Krebs’ alleged text amid the controversy surrounding their cozy pics in Mexico. His estranged wife Brittany Cartwright then reacted, and she hinted she’ll share “the truth” very soon.
On July 13, TMZ shared photos of Jax and Lori looking cozy in a pool in Puerto Vallarta. For years, Lori and the Valley star have faced romance rumors, even when he and Brittany were still together. After the photos surfaced, Brittany reportedly fired Lori as her own publicist.
On Brittany’s When Reality Hits podcast, her cohost Zack threw major shade at Jax and Lori.
“There is one thing, though, that I wanted to start off by saying. I wanted to say hi to a few fans that are listening. Hi, Lori. Hi, Jax,” he said sarcastically, via @vanderpumprulesparty on Instagram. “Thank you so much for texting people and saying that we need to watch what we say on this podcast because you’ll be listening.”
Brittany added, “All I’m going to say about this at this moment is I will be speaking my truth, the truth, on this matter very soon, whenever I’m ready,” she said. “As of right now, I am focusing on me and the most important thing in my life, which is my beautiful son. As of right now, I’m just trying to protect my son and my peace. … I mean, I think everybody kind of understands what’s going on.”
Zack responded, “Then once you say your piece, oh I can’t wait to say mine.”
“Those people will never live rent-free in my mind ever again,” said Brittany.
After the photos surfaced last week, Brittany’s friend Lala Kent shared her reaction.
“If you guys remember, there was a rumor like two, two and a half years ago that Jax and this other person, her name’s Lori, were hooking up. And, you know, no one thought anything of it, moved on,” said Lala on her podcast, Untraditionally Lala, without confirming or denying the rumors. “Brittany is one of my dearest friends, and I want her to talk about it.”
“These are two bottom feeders. I’m absolutely disgusted,” Lala added. “I cannot believe that people move this way in life. … I felt the need to text Brittany and say, ‘Hey, I got invited to Vegas for less than 24 hours tomorrow. And if you want to come, I would like to get you out of Los Angeles and away from all the sh*t.’ And she texts back and said, ‘I think that would be really good for me.’ I was like, ‘Oh, sh*t, we’re doing it.’”
