Coronation Street favourite Sean Wilson has surprised fans with some wonderful personal news — he is officially a married man.
The actor, best known to millions of soap viewers as Martin Platt, revealed that he secretly tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Carol Hammond in a beautiful countryside wedding surrounded by the people closest to them.

“Guess what we did this weekend… a July wedding,” he wrote.

“Brought me my gorgeous Mrs Wilson,” he wrote, before sharing that their ceremony featured a gospel choir and a church filled with what he affectionately described as “legendary (real) friends.”
