Terry Dubrow is challenging Vicki Gunvalson to a hefty wager on the heels of her claims that he and his wife, Heather Dubrow, didn’t make their own money, but inherited it from Terry’s late brother, Kevin.

After Vicki, 64, made the allegation on the season 20 premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Terry, 67, stepped out at Steak 48 in Beverly Hills, California, where he offered up $100,000 to prove that he and Heather, 57, never got a dime from Kevin’s passing.

“Well, I can’t figure out why she would do that. First of all, where does she get her information? Why is it so important to her?” Terry asked TMZ on July 20. “And you know, Vicki is a very smart woman, has worked really hard in her life, and has earned everything she has, and she’s very proud of it. I’ve done the same.”

“I didn’t inherit a dime from my brother. I’m trying not to get upset about it because I worked my tail off my whole life to get where Heather and I are today. Both Heather and I have contributed significantly to this,” he continued.

Terry then encouraged Vicki to “put her money where her mouth is.”

“I bet Vicki Gunvalson $100,000 that I can prove to her beyond a shadow of a doubt that I didn’t inherit a single dime from my brother,” he declared.

As for why Vicki had made her claim against him and Heather, Terry suspected it made “her feel better about her stage in life to try to diminish us.”

“I don’t really understand. I mean, look, she’s successful; I’ve done pretty well. I have no idea. I have my theories, but I’m going to let Heather answer those theories,” he went on.

When asked how Heather felt, Terry said, “Heather knows that it upsets me because I’ve prided myself on my incredibly hard work.”

“I went to college for four years. I went to medical school for four years. I did a general surgery residency for seven years. I did two years of plastic surgery. Residency. I’m board certified,” he shared. “I’ve worked my butt off to get where I am, so if Vicki wants to say that, first of all, she’s just completely wrong, and Vicki Gunvalson needs to put her money where her mouth is and bet me $100,000 that I can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that I did not inherit a dime from my brother.”

Although Terry was willing to put up a six-figure wager, he didn’t think Vicki would do the same.

“She’s just fun to say it on podcasts and to spread rumors that aren’t true. But at the end of the day, let’s go, Vicki, bring it. Come on … If you don’t want to bet me $100,000 … You should shut the F up,” he concluded.

As RHOC fans may have seen, Vicki spoke to Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea last week, suggesting that Terry and Heather should “own it” if they got money from his late brother.

“I think Heather should own it if that’s the truth,” she said. “And if it’s not the truth, then I misspoke.”

Vicki then said that while Heather had claimed their parents were alive, their fathers had both passed.

“And both parents weren’t married when they passed,” she said. “I’m in financial planning. I have a lot of history on legacy planning in regards to where does the money go when people die? It’s going to go somewhere. And if it went to them, good for them. Own it. … I personally think, because I’ve been doing this 36 years, there is a legacy plan.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 20 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
