I am beginning to think Andy Burnham won’t be any different from Keir Starmer – and Angela Rayner’s latest indiscretion proves it. Why anyone would appoint Ms Rayner to a Cabinet posting is beyond me, and rather throws into doubt their wider judgement.
Ill-tempered and ill-mannered, Ms Rayner spent the majority of her time before Government snarling on the backbenchers and hurling insults at anyone vaguely to the right of your average communist.
