Adam Thomas has admitted that he had his ‘moments’ during his time in the I’m A Celebrity: All Stars camp, after it was revealed that he exploded in a fit of rage at footballer Jimmy Bullard during filming.

The Waterloo Road star, 37, traveled to South Africa with his fellow All Stars including Scarlett Moffatt, Harry Redknapp, and Gemma Collins in September for the ITV show. When asked about his experience, Thomas said, “It was tough, there’s no denying that, and I feel like I had my moments in there, like we all did. I’m glad I did it; it’s amazing to be back after 10 years. I got such imposter syndrome, it’s a lot to take in and it was a lot to take in. It was an experience, to say the least, but I’m glad that I did it.”
Adam was at a Q&A session hosted by Sam Thompson and Kemi Rogers at the Ham Yard Hotel during the launch of the upcoming show. However, Jimmy Bullard, 47, was absent as reports suggest the pair no longer speak. Sean Walsh tried to assure the audience that they were still friends, but Scarlett Moffatt, the former Queen of the Jungle, revealed that none of the stars were even using the group WhatsApp anymore. “Let’s not lie on this stage,” Scarlett said. “I think naturally, in a social setting like that, you are drawn to certain people over others. That’s just life. We did all get on, but there were peaks and troughs, wasn’t there?”
The explosive fallout revealed
Adam Thomas’ emotional revelation comes after reports emerged that he had a major fallout with Bullard while filming. The incident allegedly occurred during a Bushtucker Trial, where Adam reportedly exploded and screamed at Jimmy, calling him offensive names in front of hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. According to a source, “Adam totally lost it. He started screaming at Jimmy, calling him a c*** and every other name under the sun. It was completely unexpected and deeply shocked the other campmates, including Jimmy, who didn’t see it coming.”
Jimmy Bullard, it’s believed, couldn’t attend the series launch due to prior engagements. The argument between Adam and Jimmy was reportedly so intense that one of the stars even called out, “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here.”
At the I’m A Celebrity launch, hosts Ant and Dec teased viewers with a behind-the-scenes look at the record-breaking trials. “The trials are physically bigger, and they are tougher than we’ve seen before because we have to really test them… we’ve made it tougher than ever,” Ant said.
Adam Thomas also added, “It was tough, there’s no denying that, and I feel like I had my moments in there, like we all did. I’m glad I did it. It’s amazing to be back after 10 years. I got such imposter syndrome.”
What’s next for the All Stars series?
Ant and Dec promised even more drama, saying, “We start off on a huge balancing board, hanging off the side of a cliff… we strap the celebrities together, and they are on this board which is going backwards and forwards. Then a full-size train set that the celebrities are in.”
Dec continued, “They didn’t realize what was about to hit them, definitely not. It all dawns on them pretty quickly that it was a different level. There’s another one where the celebrities are 140ft in the air where they go head-to-head with another celebrity. There’s a 50ft game of Snakes & Ladders.”
The All Stars series has been filmed in Kruger National Park, South Africa, and will feature more outrageous challenges, including creepy crawlies and even animal genitalia.
“The eating trial took so long—it’s now on record as the longest trial ever,” Ant added. “It lasted about five hours, and two of the campmates were sitting in the bleachers at the back who weren’t involved in the trial, but they were falling asleep.”
The show will also introduce a live final for the first time, with the public finally deciding who will be crowned I’m A Celebrity Legend.
