I’m A Celebrity favourite Aitch left fans scrambling for answers this week, after the 25-year-old rapper appeared to confess he had a “soft spot” for campmate Shona McGarty.
The flirty remark stunned viewers — many of whom believed he was still happily coupled up with psychology student Lois Cottam.
But behind the scenes, the story was already changing.
Sources now claim that Aitch and Lois quietly ended their relationship earlier this month, just before he flew out to the Australian jungle. According to insiders, the pair — who were together for more than a year — felt their romance had reached a gentle, natural end.
“They still care deeply about each other,” a source told The Sun. “But they realised they’re better off as friends. No drama, no fall-out. She genuinely wants him to shine in the jungle.”
Though the couple enjoyed dreamy escapes to New York and Santorini over the summer, their relationship was famously low-key. Aitch rarely posted about Lois, and the two preferred to keep their connection out of the spotlight.
