The castle purchase follows a reported seven-figure deal with Disney+, which is documenting his ambitious journey to restore the historic estate and transform it into a luxury retreat.

Over the weekend, hundreds of items from Ayton Castle were auctioned off, with everything from antique furniture and artwork to rugs, ceramics, and decorative pieces going under the hammer to help generate additional funds for the renovation.
Among the most unusual lots were dozens of sculptures from the famous Branxton Cement Menagerie, a beloved collection of painted concrete animals and historical figures that began as a heartfelt project by a father creating entertainment for his disabled son before becoming a unique visitor attraction.

Ayton Castle is no ordinary property.
The sprawling estate boasts 16 bedrooms, around 160 acres of gardens and parkland, and even a working miniature railway, making it one of the most distinctive private estates in Scotland.
