Coronation Street star Sam Aston has exciting news for fans: he and his wife Briony are expecting their fourth child. The couple, who already share three children — Sonny, five, Daisy, four, and two-year-old Hazel — shared the happy news in a fun and heartwarming Instagram video.
In the clip, 32-year-old Sam can be seen pulling his children across the floor, while Hazel holds the ultrasound scan photos of her soon-to-be sibling. Over the video, Briony wrote: “Here we go again… baby Aston #4,” along with a Christmas tree emoji, hinting the new arrival is expected during the festive season.
Sam, best known for his role as Chesney on Coronation Street since 2003, and Briony, a birth doula and certified yoga instructor, have been married since 2019. They first met as teenagers, tying the knot in a lavish Cheshire ceremony.

Briony also revealed she will be slowing down her doula work to focus on her pregnancy, explaining on Instagram Stories that she’s closed her bookings from mid-October onwards to protect her headspace and prepare for the new arrival.
