Both Parents Speak Out — Inside Katie Price & Princess Andre’s Reported ‘Divide’

The family tension is no longer just whispers — both Katie Price and ex-husband Peter Andre are speaking out, as their daughter Princess Andre’s new show hits headlines.

Katie has made an unfiltered confession about why she refuses to watch the ITV2 series, declaring: “I won’t watch her show – I don’t need it rubbed in my face.”
Meanwhile, Peter has reportedly urged his ex-wife to stay quiet — pleading: “Let the girl be, don’t hurt her again.”

The pair’s history is long and complicated. Back in 2018, Princess and her brother Junior reportedly moved in with Peter and stepmother Emily, allegedly due to Katie’s partying. At the time, a source said Katie needed to “focus on getting back on top of her finances” to provide stability.

Princess eventually returned to her mum’s home, but more recently has been living with Peter again — something Katie says is only temporary while her daughter films her new documentary, produced by Peter’s company. “I’m not allowed anywhere near it,” Katie said. “She has only a few weeks left of filming.”

In a clip from the documentary, Princess reflected on the impact of her parents’ split, admitting she wished for a happier childhood and that she often kept her feelings bottled up, writing them down instead of speaking out.

‘Distance Yourself’ from Mum?

According to The Sun, the 18-year-old has been advised to keep her public image separate from Katie, with sources suggesting staying close to her mum is “not good” for her career. The alleged rift has been compared to the Beckham family feud, leaving Katie feeling “isolated and discarded.”

Katie reportedly wanted to guide Princess’ career — overseeing contracts, helping with press — but now there’s a personal/professional divide.

The Birthday & Documentary Ban

Princess’ milestone 18th birthday in June reportedly came without an invite for Katie. On her podcast, Katie accused Peter’s camp of keeping her away. She also revealed she won’t be appearing in Princess’ show despite offering to film for free, claiming she hasn’t even seen the contracts her daughter signed.

This is where Peter allegedly stepped in with his plea: “Let the girl be, don’t hurt her again.” His message, according to insiders, was about protecting Princess from unnecessary drama as she steps into the public eye.

A Rift Felt Across the Family

Katie’s terminally ill mother, Amy Price, is said to be “heartbroken” by the situation, especially as she cherishes her granddaughter.

Public Reminders & Past Remarks

Katie insists she and Princess have “never had an argument” and “get on like best friends,” but she has also posted reminders online that “you only get one mum.” Past anecdotes — like Princess asking her to tone down outfits at school pick-up — show they’ve had light-hearted clashes before.

Old comments from 2023 also resurfaced, where Katie, with Princess present, called her “ugly” as a baby, insisting it wasn’t cruel and that she can tell if her children are “ugly or not.”

Whether this is a short-term bump or a deeper family fracture, the fact that both parents are now speaking publicly — and with very different tones — suggests this is one story far from over.
