Strictly Come Dancing’s beloved pro dancer, Dianne Buswell, has officially welcomed her first child with her partner, YouTube star Joe Sugg. The couple announced the arrival of their baby boy in an emotional Instagram post, revealing the newborn wrapped snugly in a soft blanket. The accompanying message read: “Never felt a love like it” — a sentiment that perfectly captures the magic of becoming parents.
The adorable baby, named Bowden Mark Richard Sugg, made his debut on March 16, 2026, bringing endless joy to the couple. The sweet moment was shared with fans on Instagram, and it didn’t take long for their famous friends to flood the post with love.
Celebrities, including TV presenter Helen Skelton and Strictly alumni Oti Mabuse, sent their heartfelt congratulations with an array of heart emojis. George Clarke, a social media star and fellow Strictly contestant, added his own message, saying: “Congratulations, such amazing news.”

This milestone for the couple follows their journey on Strictly Come Dancing, where they first met during the 2018 series. Fast forward to 2024, and Dianne clinched the glitterball trophy with comedian Chris McCausland, making history as the first blind contestant to win the iconic dance competition.
Fans have been eagerly following Dianne and Joe’s journey ever since they announced their pregnancy on Instagram in September 2025. With the birth of little Bowden, they’ve now entered an exciting new chapter of their lives.
Stay tuned for more updates on their growing family! ❤️
