Cat Deeley has made a hilarious return to This Morning after a mysterious absence, but it didn’t take long for her to confess to a major blunder that had the studio in stitches.
The 49-year-old presenter had been missing from the ITV daytime show for several episodes, with Angela Scanlon and Alison Hammond stepping in to cover for her. However, when Cat reunited with Ben Shephard on the March 2nd episode, she wasted no time in revealing a behind-the-scenes mishap that left everyone laughing.
Ben cheekily teased, “She’s back and do you know what she’s already done?” before Cat jokingly replied, “Oh, go on then, tell them.” Ben then revealed that Cat had sat on an iPad before the show went live, causing it to break. “I’ve already blown the budget,” Cat laughed, joking, “My butt.”
Laughing at herself, Cat explained, “I was putting my shoe on and thought, ‘I need to sit down or I’m going to fall on my face and lose my teeth.’ So I sat on it, and it just went crack.”
