Peter Doocy, 38, senior White House correspondent for Fox News, and his wife Hillary Vaughn, 36, have announced they are expecting their third child. The couple shared the joyful news during a live broadcast of “The Sunday Briefing.” Their growing family already includes daughter Bridget, 3, and son George, 1. 
The Doocys reside in a luxurious Fairfax, VA home they purchased in 2023 for $1.7 million, featuring five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, and just a 40-minute drive from the White House, where Peter currently works.
For the pregnancy announcement, the couple chose Florida—where Peter’s father, Fox News host Steve Doocy, and his wife relocated in 2025. The photos capture the family joyfully posing in front of the water, with Hillary holding George and both parents holding Bridget’s hands, surrounded by palm trees. 
Excitingly, the couple revealed that their third child is due on October 19, which coincides with Steve Doocy’s 70th birthday. Sharing the news on social media, they wrote, “Baby Doocy No. 3 coming this fall (due on @stevedoocy birthday!). Doocy Party of 4, soon to be Doocy Party of 5.” Steve was among the first to congratulate them.
The Doocys’ announcement comes two years after they moved into their Fairfax home, which features top-of-the-line finishes, custom cabinetry, double dishwashers, a home office, a massive basement with a wet bar and gym, and an advanced security system.
Hillary and Peter’s previous pregnancy announcement in 2024 also highlighted festive moments, showing their family excitement for George’s arrival. Despite the hectic schedules of their careers, the couple balances family life while sharing joyful updates with their fans.
This new addition promises another exciting chapter for the Doocy family, with celebrations and cherished moments sure to follow.
