While Frankie has been sharing her travel adventures on Instagram, some critics have judged her for leaving her children behind. Unfazed, she posted a clip of herself in a red two-piece from the Burberry x Hunza G collection, writing: ‘This… and being told I’m a bad mum for going away without my kids.’ She added: ‘Because you know people love to have their “opinions”.’
The singer later styled the ensemble with loose black linen trousers, a matching shirt, flip-flops, trendy shades, and a large Loewe beach bag. Fans quickly supported Frankie, praising her for taking a necessary break. Comments included: ‘Filling up your cup and having a break so you can be the BEST mum to your kids’ and ‘The only people who matter when it comes to judging anyone’s parenting is their kids.’ 
Frankie’s Instagram backlash follows a challenging month, during which she revealed she was struggling with her son Carter’s worsening dyslexia. She shared emotional moments about deciding whether to send him to a specialist school far from home, noting the difficulty of balancing his needs with family logistics.
She explained that while Carter’s current school offers good support, a specialist dyslexic school might better prepare him for secondary education next year. Frankie admitted concerns about his reliance on specialist methods but praised the school’s inclusive approach for building confidence among students. She also discussed the significant financial and logistical challenges of sending him to such a school.
Reflecting on the emotional toll, Frankie shared: ‘I just never know what to do, what’s best for him. There’ll be so many parents out there, I know, that have to drop their kids off, crying at school every day. I just feel a bit worn down by it now. I just feel a bit trapped because, obviously, they have to go to school.’
Despite the challenges, Frankie continues to enjoy her holiday while addressing criticism with confidence and authenticity, sending a clear message about self-care and the pressures of parenting.
