From Bedroom Streamer to £420,000 Homeowner: AngryGinge’s Extraordinary Rise After I’m A Celeb Win.n

🌟 From Damp Walls to a £420,000 Dream Home — The Remarkable Reinvention of AngryGinge 🌟

I’m A Celebrity champion AngryGinge has marked his rise from struggling bedroom streamer to primetime sensation by purchasing his first house — a £420,000 mock-Tudor newbuild that stands as a defining symbol of just how dramatically his world has changed before his 25th birthday. His Manchester-based estate agent Jamie Burke posted on Instagram to mark Burtwistle's purchase, sharing an image of them shaking hands and handing over the keys in the influencer's brand new kitchen

DailyMail.com understands the influencer — real name Morgan Burtwistle — snapped up the three-bed property in Tyldesley, Greater Manchester in June last year, upgrading from mould-stained rental flats to open-plan living spaces, landscaped gardens, a hot tub and an expansive driveway.

Yet the purchase is only a small part of the story. In 2025 alone, Burtwistle has earned over £1.2million — powered by his ITV triumph and a rapidly growing online empire. Five million followers across Twitch, YouTube and Instagram have made him a magnet for major brands such as Puma and JD Sports. The Salford-born star has amassed more than five million followers across all social media and is understood to have earned more than £1million in the last year alone - so that left him with plenty to play with when buying the property (pictured)

Estate agent Jamie Burke celebrated handing over the keys with a proud selfie in the new kitchen — a moment worlds away from the life AngryGinge once knew.

Raised in Eccles by his single mother Michelle, alongside his sister Tasha, the star spent his early years in council housing while Michelle worked three jobs — school kitchen shifts, cleaning and care — earning just £12,500 a year.

Speaking in the jungle, the 24-year-old recalled watching his mother go straight from one job to the next without resting, telling Alex Scott:

“If she can do it, then I can do this. That keeps me going.”At a price tag of £420,000, the mock Tudor newbuild boasts a bright, airy kitchen-diner (pictured), two modern high-spec bathrooms, large front and back gardens, a hot tub, covered patio, and a sweeping driveway

That grit defined his journey. At 18, he left home to ease the financial strain, eventually moving into what he called a “s***hole” apartment — no shower, mouldy walls, broken door — while saving every possible penny toward a deposit.

He nearly quit streaming, making just £12.44 from his first FIFA broadcast. But the death of his grandfather during Covid reignited his determination. Ten-hour livestreams followed, then YouTube, then brand partnerships, and finally national fame.

Two years ago, he celebrated paying off his mother’s debts — a life-changing moment for the woman he calls “my hero.”Burtwistle (left) has spoken candidly about his upbringing on a council estate in Eccles, Greater Manchester, where he and his sister Tasha (centre), 27, were raised by their single mother Michelle (right), 50. His relationship with his father remains fractured; he has publicly dismissed Lee Smith as a “dead-beat dad,” saying he would not acknowledge him if they crossed paths.

In complete contrast, he used his I’m A Celebrity victory to give his mother the trip of a lifetime — a free holiday to Australia.

Now with a secure home, soaring income and unprecedented influence, AngryGinge stands as one of Britain’s most unexpected winners of the social-media era — driven not by ego or extravagance, but by a son’s determination to rewrite his family’s future after years of hardship.Burtwistle previously rented a 's***hole' apartment (pictured) with no shower, peeling wallpaper, mould and a door without a handle for £350 a month

A mock-Tudor house may be the headline.
But stability, gratitude and redemption are the real story.
