Geri Halliwell and her husband, Christian Horner, were spotted at a horse racing event on Sunday, putting on a united front amidst recent claims that Geri is mourning her life as an F1 WAG. Following Christian’s departure as Red Bull team principal last July, reports suggested Geri has struggled with the change, longing for the excitement and glamour of her former life. Geri stood out from other attendees in her attention-grabbing all-white ensemble

At the point-to-point steeplechase event in Edgcote, Banbury, Geri, 53, stood out in an all-white outfit, a far cry from the iconic Union Jack dress she wore in the 1997 Brit Awards. Her look, which included white boots, trousers, and a wool overcoat, was a striking contrast to the more casual attire of other attendees. Despite the weather turning rainy, Geri and Christian, 49, appeared relaxed and friendly as they chatted with racegoers and jockeys. The couple’s horse, Cartesien, competed in the 3.45 pm Mixed Open race, finishing in second place, though the competition was limited with only three runners. Geri and Christian’s horse racing venture includes several others named after Geri’s solo music hits, such as Lift Me Up and Look At Mee.

While the couple maintains their success in horse racing—having built stables and secured planning permission for a £30,000 ‘horse walker’ at their Oxfordshire estate—sources close to Geri reveal she’s struggling without the F1 lifestyle. Geri had enjoyed the global travel, glamorous events, and the spotlight as the ‘First Lady of F1.’ Now, she’s made it clear to Christian that she wants him back in the F1 world as soon as possible.

A source close to the couple said, “Geri loves being at the center of the action. She misses the excitement, the glamour, and being in the limelight.” Neighbors in their quiet Oxfordshire village have noticed Geri’s growing discontent, with one villager commenting on how peaceful but dull the village life can be compared to the jet-set F1 lifestyle.

Despite these challenges, the couple remains committed to their shared love for horse racing, and as they adjust to their new life, it’s clear Geri and Christian are still facing the aftermath of significant changes in their lives.
