The presenter was reportedly reminded of the broadcaster’s commercial rules after appearing on Morning Live wearing watches from jewellery brand Clogau, a company for which he serves as a paid ambassador.
BBC guidelines state that presenters should not promote products or brands on air when they have a commercial relationship with them.
